The centre has links with the local hospitals and children’s charities as well as accepting direct referrals.
The centre is currently looking for qualified volunteer therapists to come and work for a minimum of 2 weeks, to train local staff and provide therapy and education to the children and families accessing the centre.
Fort Portal is located in the south west of Uganda in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains and is close to Queen Elizabeth and Semliki National Parks and the chimpanzees in Kibale Forest. The town has good transport links with Kampala and is popular with tourists and non-government organisations.
